Who this policy covers

This policy explains how SEWARD · TOP KNIVES LLC. handles personal information when you browse our store, place an order, contact us or subscribe to product updates.

It covers the SEWARD storefront and its language subdomains. Independently operated payment services and other linked websites have their own privacy notices.

For a privacy question or request, use our contact page and include “Privacy request” in your message.

02

What we use — and why

Orders & delivery

We use the name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, selected products and order records needed to process purchases, arrange delivery and provide after-sales support.

Accounts & support

Account details and the information you include in a message help us identify your account or order and respond to your request.

Newsletter subscriptions

We record your email address, source website, language, subscription time and the subscription notice associated with your action.

Website operation

Technical information, including IP address, browser details and website interactions, helps operate the store, diagnose problems and protect it against misuse.

Payment details are handled through the payment service used at checkout. Do not send full card numbers, security codes or account passwords in a support message.

Where a legal basis is required, order administration relies on performance of a contract or steps requested before a purchase; recordkeeping may be necessary for legal obligations; security and support may rely on legitimate interests, subject to applicable rights. Newsletter marketing relies on your sign-up and applicable consent requirements.

03

Services that help run the store

Relevant information is handled by services needed to run the store, including hosting, payment processing, delivery, customer support and website measurement. Our current setup includes Hostinger hosting, the payment services displayed at checkout, and Google Analytics website measurement.

Subscription records are stored in the website and synchronized to our internal customer-management system. A new-subscription notification is also sent to our support mailbox. That internal notification is separate from a marketing email sent to you.

We may disclose information where required by law or to address fraud, security issues or a legal claim. Our team and service providers may process information outside your country; applicable data-transfer requirements still apply. Contact us for information about the processing relevant to your interaction.

04

Cookies & website preferences

The store uses cookies and similar storage for sessions, shopping baskets and supported language or currency preferences. Blocking these mechanisms can affect those functions.

Google Analytics is used for website measurement. You can review your browser’s cookie and tracking controls; Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls do not necessarily stop every form of technical logging.

Store functions

Support session and basket information.

Preferences

Support language, market and currency choices.

Measurement

Help understand website use and performance.

A newsletter subscription is not consent to unrelated advertising or tracking. Any consent required for a separate processing purpose must be considered separately.

05

Your choices & privacy requests

Product updates: signing up for the newsletter is separate from placing an order. To withdraw a subscription, use our contact page and provide the subscribed email address. If a marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, you can use that link.

Privacy rights: depending on the law that applies, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, portability, restriction of processing, or object to certain uses. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Explain your request and the email address associated with your interaction. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or changing a record. Do not send identity documents or sensitive payment details unless a verified support process asks for them.

Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect against fraud. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.

06

Keeping information secure

Retention is assessed according to the type of record and why it is needed: order administration and applicable accounting obligations; an active account or support issue; security or dispute handling; and your newsletter subscription and withdrawal requests.

These records do not all have one automatic deletion deadline. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion. A withdrawal request may require a limited record to prevent further marketing rather than deletion of every reference to the request.

Access to subscription records is restricted to authorized administrative users. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your account credentials private.

The store is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that should be reviewed or removed.
